MEDIA TRAINING WORKSHOPS

CoNTACT GREG

Fronting up for a news interview can be great for your profile, and for your brand.

But how will you deal with nerves; body language and unexpected questions?

Media training workshops are lively and entertaining. They include individual mentoring, and on-camera coaching to develop your confidence and improve presenting skills.

Each session is tailored to your requirements.  In a typical half day session, you'll learn how to:

  • Respond to unexpected media enquiries
  • Prepare for a typical news interview
  • Perform for print, radio and TV
  • Promote positive coverage of your services
  • Manage hostile questions and negative issues
  • Engage audiences through story-telling
  • Avoid no-go areas like Off The Record

STANDARD WORKSHOPS

Standard workshops are by far the most popular media training option. These are designed for individuals, or small groups of two or three colleagues.  If you have four or more to be trained, the best option is to split them into two smaller groups.

Standard workshops are tailored to your media requirements. They feature recorded interview training with each attendee.  Standard workshops are ideal for anyone in a spokesperson role.

8-PLUS GROUP PRESENTATIONS

8-PLUS is a popular option for large companies and organisations. This is a 2.5-hour presentation designed for eight or more people. Greg's presentation includes limited on-camera interview role-play for two or three volunteers.

The 8-PLUS is ideal for any group requiring a general introduction to media basics, rather than intense individual critiques. All attendees receive training notes and tip sheets.

CRISIS MANAGEMENT

The biggest test of media management comes when you least expect it.  Greg is frequently called on to provide ongoing advice and mentoring.  This includes support and strategy for clients facing media controversy or crisis.

When things go wrong, it pays front up and tell your own bad news - either face to face, or through regular media updates.  Last minute interview rehearsals are a popular way to prepare for the toughest encounters.
