options:
Media training workshops are available throughout New Zealand.
The
most popular
option is a standard workshop. These are designed for one-to-one, or groups of
two or three people.
Standard workshops include recorded interview training with immediate feedback and
critique. Television interviews are captured on a digital DV camcorder and filmed with
a professional lighting kit.
For larger groups,
coaching can be spread over two or more
group workshops. Or you
have the option of a ten-Plus presentation.
Media training is lively and intensive, with plenty of expert advice and practise to help
you grow
in
confidence. You and your staff will learn how to:
- Respond to an unexpected reporter inquiry
- Work with reporters, rather than avoid them
- Prepare for a typical news interview
- Perform on radio and television
- Manage hostile questions
- Establish long term media relationships
- Recognise tricks of the trade
