Drone photography

A couple of years ago I became the enthusiastic owner of a Mavic Air drone. I'm still amazed by the new world these devices open up for photographers.

The Mavic Air is capable of 4K video recording as well as high quality stills photography. If you take up the hobby, be sure to register with Airways NZ. Their web site will help you find safe flying locations.

Here's one recent example of video filmed at Auckland's Karekare Beach. There's nothing complicated here - all settings were on auto.
